375th CES firefighters conduct ‘live fire’ training

Firefighters with the 375th Civil Engineer Squadron conducted live firefighting training at their simulator July 26 on Scott Air Force Base.

Base firefighters are responsible not only for responding to building fires on base, but also responding to aircraft crashes and fires on the flightline.

The firefighting simulator allows them to train for aircraft fires in a realistic environment.
