Team Scott makes big splash in Annual Boat Regatta

The 375th Force Support Squadron’s Outdoor Recreation team held the 11th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta Aug. 10 at the Fitness Center Pool. The 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs “Air Force Ballers” team won the race with a recorded time of 1 minute, 56 seconds.

Team “Rooks” in “Wee’z Here” from the 837th Cyberspace Operations Squadron won 2nd place, while Team “Can’t Fly Without Supply” in “Hercules” from the 436th Supply Chains Operation Squadron captured 3rd place.

Additionally, “Wee’z Here” won Most Creative Boat; Team “Cookie Monster” in “The Lactose Tolerance” from the 436th SCOS won Best Dressed Team; and Team “Dino” in “Jurassic” from Headquarters Air Mobility Command won Most Dramatic Sinking. Overall, 16 teams participated in the regatta.
