SHOWCASE AIRMEN: 8 C-21A pilots

Lt. Col. Thomas Knaust, Maj. Taylor Todd, and Capts. Angus MacDonald, Alex Beveridge, Ramiro Rios, Jennifer Nolta, Mathew Williams and Waylon Mays, all C-21A pilots with the 375th Operations Group, are this week’s Showcase Airmen.

In the absence of Command Test Pilots, these pilots flew the first C-21A in the Avionics Upgrade Program. They spent days taking lessons with the avionics manufacturer and a Federal Aviation Association test pilot before they stepped foot in the airplane.

This flight was key to building the training program for 100 pilots in the Air Force C-21A fleet.
