RUN FOR OUR TROOPS 5K RUN/WALK
Join the Fitness/James Sports Centers on Sept. 9 for their Run for Our Troops 5K Run/Walk. The run will begin immediately after the 9/11 Reveille, which begins at 7:30 a.m. Squadrons/Units can make it a PT morning and enter the run. Awards will be given to first place male/female finishers plus all participants will be entered into a prize drawing. This free event is open to all Active Duty, Reserve, Air National Guard, Retirees, Dependents and DOD Civilians. Stop by the Fitness Center or James Sports Center to register. FALL RUNNING CLINIC REGISTRATION OPEN
The Fall Running Clinic registration is open. The clinic will meet at 7:15 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from Sept. 9-Oct. 27. This is open to all Active Duty, Air National Guard and Reservists. This hands-on, seven week clinic is designed to help improve 1.5 mile run time. R4R: FRIDAY NIGHT TWOSOME GOLF CLASSES
Learning to play golf is more fun with a partner. People should grab their significant other, a friend, a family member, or neighbor and join the Cardinal Creek Golf Course for their two-day Friday Night Twosome Golf Class at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and Sept. 23. The PGA professional staff at Cardinal Creek Golf Course will instruct golfers on various aspects of the golf game. After the lesson, take those newly acquired golf skills out on the course for a little twilight golf. Class fee is only $5 per person which covers both sessions (a $50 Value).
