Cahokia man spits in officer’s face, is charged with felony

A Cahokia man has been charged with aggravated battery of a peace officer.

According to St. Clair County records, Deion C. Allen allegedly spat in the face of a female police officer as she attempted to do her duty.

Aggravated battery of a peace office is a Class 2 felony.

Allen was also charged with a pair of misdemeanors in relation to the incident: aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

His bond has been set at $40,000.
