The student accused of shooting at a mirror at Belleville West’s night school now faces multiple felony charges.
Dorian T. Johnson, 20, of Swansea, faces two felony charges after an incident Tuesday night in which he is accused of bringing a gun to the school and shooting at a bathroom mirror.
Johnson was a student in the night classes, according to police. No one was threatened or injured in the incident, and Superintendent Jeff Dosier has said there was “never a threat to any students.”
Johnson has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon in a school, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony. His bail has been set at $50,000.
