Collinsville tire theft may be connected to others

A Collinsville Police Department investigation into the theft of more than $3,000 in tires and rims from Laura Buick GMC, 903 N. Bluff Road, on April 14 has revealed the same vehicle may have been involved in similar thefts in both Illinois and Missouri.

Surveillance footage from the dealership and an adjacent business showed two male suspects in the theft were driving a light-colored, late-1990s to early-2000s model Chevrolet or GMC sport-utility vehicle.
