East St. Louis woman accused of pepper-spraying baby, woman outside Cahokia Schnucks
An East St. Louis woman is accused of pepper-spraying a 9-month-old baby and a woman in the parking lot of Schnucks in Cahokia.
Tyra Simmons, 33, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery for allegedly sprayed a "non-lethal, noxious substance" around the head and body of a woman and a 9-month-old baby on April 25, according to charges filed Friday.
Simmons was in custody at the St. Clair County Jail as of Friday afternoon on $150,000 bail.
