Police say a Fairview Heights man stabbed his brother Friday night and then attempted to run him over with his car.

Dominique C. Webb, 25, of Fairview Heights was charged with aggravated domestic battery and aggravated assault. He remained in custody on Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $60,000 bail.

Police said they were called to the 200 block of Linda Drive, listed as Webb’s address, at about 4 p.m. Friday regarding a fight. Ronald Webb, his brother, was found there and had been stabbed several times but refused to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Dominique Webb was not at the home when police arrived, and police did not disclose what the brothers may have been fighting about.

Police say the brothers fought, and Dominique Webb stabbed his brother. He then got into his vehicle, a 2005 Ford Focus, and attempted to hit his brother, police said. The car ran into the home, damaging the car and the house.

Dominique Webb was found later in Shiloh and arrested there.
