Four juveniles in custody in connection with carjacking at Belleville gas station
Four juveniles are in custody in connection with a Sunday morning carjacking at a Belleville gas station, police said Tuesday.
Belleville police posted on Facebook that at about 7:15 a.m. Sunday, a man reported being carjacked at a BP gas station on 74th Street by at least two people with others possibly riding in a separate car.
No weapons were used and no one was injured, according to police. The other car was eventually identified by Belleville and St. Louis police, and the man’s car was recovered by the Riverview, Mo., Police Department.
Four juveniles were taken into custody. Further information was not immediately available.
