Highland police located a 14-year-old boy who went missing after the Madison County Fair in Highland on Wednesday night.
Zachary Hook was last seen at the fair at about 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police.
Zach was reported missing at about 11:34 p.m. Wednesday by his family, who said he refused to come home and would not tell his family where he was. His last contact was with his family at about 3:30 a.m. when he told his family he was with friends and would be home later, police said.
According to police, Zach was considered to be an endangered person due to medical conditions that require regular doses of medication that he has not taken in the last 24 hours.

Zach was located at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said, and was “in good health and spirit.”
