His car was impounded after he fled. Police say he shaved his head to get it back.
A man disguised himself and attempted to retrieve his impounded car from the Caseyville Police station after police say he fled a traffic stop.
Kelvin Durham was pulled over in the parking lot of the Caseyville Mini Mart on July 27, police said. He gave police his name and fled the scene in his car.
Police found the car unoccupied and impounded the vehicle.
On Tuesday, Durham went to the police station to try to get his car out of impound. He had shaved his head in order to disguise his appearance, according to police.
Durham was arrested and charged with fleeing an officer.
