The Madison County Sheriff’s Office was asking for the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a suspect vehicle in connection to an armed robbery Friday at a business in the 5500 block of Maryville Road in rural Granite City.

Two white men dressed in camouflage entered the business and showed an employee a firearm, a Facebook post from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office stated. The employee had just finished emptying the gambling machines inside the business.

The two men fled the area with undisclosed amount of money in what appears to be a 2016 or 2017 Nissan Altima.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office via Facebook or by calling the dispatch center at 618-692-4433 or the anonymous tip line at 618-296-3000.
