Washington Park teen identified as victim in fatal north St. Louis shooting

The victim in a fatal shooting in north St. Louis has been identified as a Washington Park teen.

Timothy Lucas, 14, was found shot in the chest in the 8300 block of North Broadway Street at 6:14 p.m. on Saturday, St. Louis Police Officer Michelle Woodling said Sunday.

When police found him, Lucas was alive, but later died at a St. Louis hospital, Woodling said.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

A GoFundMe account has been set up in Lucas’ name to help the family cover funeral expenses.
