Coroner identifies 18-year-old victim shot to death in Fairview Heights

The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was activated to investigate the death of an 18-year-old man in Fairview Heights.

St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. Identified the victim as Kameron J. Dorsey, of Lakeland Hills Drive in Fairview Heights. He was pronounced at the scene at 9:20 p.m, Dye said.

According to a release, Fairview Heights Police responded to a call at Lakeland Hills Drive at about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. When police arrived, they found the teenager dead with gunshot wounds in the garage.
