O’Fallon man dies in East St. Louis shooting

A 26-year-old O’Fallon man was shot and killed on the front porch of a home in East St. Louis on Tuesday.

Malcolm Frazier died in the shooting, according to St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye. Frazier was pronounced dead at 5 p.m. at the residence in the 600 block of Alhambra Court.

East St. Louis Police Chief Kendall Perry said police officers were called at 4:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the victim on the front porch. “He had been shot,” Perry said.

Illinois State Police and East St. Louis police officers are jointly investigating the homicide. Perry said officers are in the early stages of their investigation and he didn’t have further details to release Tuesday night.
