Troy woman charged with property damage after allegedly spray painting city building

A Troy woman has been accused of spray painting obscenities and anti-police sentiments on the walls of the city’s municipal building last week.

Sydney Sievers has been charged with criminal damage to property, Troy Police Chief Brad Parsons said in a social media news release Wednesday.

The graffiti included the words “Pigs” and “ACAB” in pink and black spray paint. Parsons told KMOV 4 that surveillance video outside the building aided police in the investigation.

Sievers was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday and was in police custody at the Madison County Jail on a $50,000 bond, Parsons said.
