East St. Louis man faces murder charge in shooting death of Missouri man
A 22-year-old East St. Louis man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a man in an apartment complex parking lot in North St. Louis County last month.
Zcore Hester-Henderson of the 600 block of North 71st Street in East St. Louis was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action, according to a news release from the St. Louis County Police Department.
The charges allege Hester-Henderson was driving a vehicle when a passenger got out of the vehicle and shot to death 37-year-old Derrick Bunting of St. Louis County on Aug. 12.
The shooting occurred in the 4600 block of Whisper Lake Drive.
Police said at least one eyewitness identified Hester-Henderson but no other details of the case were released.
Hester-Henderson was being held in lieu of a $500,000 cash only bond.
