Subway restaurant in O’Fallon was robbed. Police asking for public’s help.

Authorities are asking the public for assistance identifying a suspect in a Tuesday night robbery of a Subway sandwich restaurant in O’Fallon.

Officers were dispatched to the restaurant at 310 W. Highway 50 at 9:08 p.m. Tuesday. According to O’Fallon police, the suspect entered the business as employees were closing.

The man demanded money from the register as he inferred that he had a gun. Employees turned over a small amount of money.
