Domestic spat ends with stabbing of St. Clair County man
An domestic spat early Wednesday morning led to a stabbing in Cahokia Heights.
Francella Jackson, director of operations and public information officer for Cahokia Heights, said police were dispatched to Sauget Street at about 8:30 a.m to investigate a domestic disturbance.
“There was a domestic disturbance between a male and a female. The physical disturbance ended with the male party being stabbed,” Jackson said.
The individuals involved were between 18 and 20 years old, she said.
The female was arrested on scene, Jackson said. Her identity has not been released pending charges.
There was no information immediately available on the condition of the stabbing victim.
