East Belleville Imo’s robbed at gunpoint

Two men held up the east Belleville Imo’s Pizza restaurant at gunpoint late Tuesday, according to police reports.

The suspects, who both displayed handguns, walked into the store at 201 S. Belt East at about 10:15 p.m. and demanded money.

The men fled the restaurant toward the north with cash. Police did not say how much money they took.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Both suspects were described as black males. One was wearing a black hoodie with black pants. The other wore a gray hoodie with black pants.
