Fairview Heights man charged with predatory criminal sexual assault

A 30-year-old Fairview Heights man is facing nine felony charges following an investigation by the Caseyville Police Department.

Micah Stephens, of the 200 block of Monticello Place, was charged Friday with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault, four counts of indecent solicitation of a child and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Caseyville Police spokesman Gerard P. Spratt said no additional information about the crime will be released to protect the privacy of the victim’s family.

Stephens is currently being held in St. Clair County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bond.
