Body of East St. Louis man found in Washington County, police say
The body of a 44-year-old East St. Louis man has been found in Washington County and Illinois State Police said Friday it is conducting an investigation.
Montez Pearson was found on Wednesday night west of Nashville in the area of Lunte Creek Road, according to an Illinois State Police news release.
A cause of death was not listed in the statement and no arrests have been announced.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from Illinois State Police.

No other details were released by Illinois State Police.
Washington County Coroner Mark Styninger could not be reached for comment.
