Homicide victim identified as 37-year-old Collinsville woman
A 37-year-old Collinsville woman was shot and killed in the 1800 block of of East Broadway in East St. Louis early Sunday morning, law enforcement officials said.
St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. identified the victim as Brooke E. Atterberry, whose last known address was in the 300 block of Summit Avenue in Collinsville.
She was pronounced at the scene at 12:44 a.m. Sunday, Dye said.
East St. Louis Police has not released any additional information.
