Three Madison County men charged with carjacking, kidnapping and robbery
Three Madison County men are accused of hijacking a car and forcing its occupants into the trunk before driving them into a rural area, where they assaulted and robbed them.
Reginald Alexander, 20, Deangelo Collins, 21, and Lateef Hobbs, 20, were each charged with four counts of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking.
According to police reports, the victims were visiting the suspects when the suspects decided to rob them for unknown reasons.
The victims were taken to Humbert Road near Alton where they were forced out of their car, robbed of their wallets and cell phones and left. The victims walked to a house and asked the resident to call police.
