Three people shot outside nightclub in East St. Louis early Saturday morning

Three people were shot outside an East St. Louis nightclub early Saturday morning.

East St. Louis police received a 2:37 a.m. report of gunfire with a man down at Another Level nightclub at 600 Martin Luther King Drive.

Officers responded with agents from Illinois State Police’s Public Safety Enforcement Group.

Upon arrival, they located three shooting victims, according to an ISP news release. All were taken to a local hospital.

There was no immediate information available on the victims’ conditions or what led to the shooting.

The case is under investigation, ISP reported.
