O’Fallon police seek man who made lewd remarks to boy in park

O’Fallon police say a middle-aged man they haven’t been able to locate made lewd comments to a boy at Community Park on Friday.

According to a statement from the department, the boy described the man as white, in his 40s or 50s with facial hair and wearing a ball cap, glasses, a white shirt and shorts. Security cameras at the park, located at 401 E. Fifth St., captured images of the man. The incident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m., police say.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or whereabouts are asked to call O’Fallon police at 618-624-4545, ext. 3.
