Man found dead of gunshot wounds in East St. Louis
A 41-year-old man was fatally shot in East St. Louis on Friday night.
St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. said his office pronounced Terence E. LaShea dead at 11:22 p.m. at 442 N. 26th St. He gave gunshot wounds as cause of death.
Dye said it’s believed LaShea was homeless.
Illinois State Police is investigating. The agency didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on Saturday.
