Suspect charged in connection with Mascoutah home invasion
A suspect has been charged in connection with a Mascoutah home invasion.
Christopher M. Cordes was charged by the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office Monday with attempted home invasion, a Class 1 felony.
Cordes, 52, is accused of forcing his way into a residence on West Main Street while armed with a pistol at 2 p.m. Sept. 18.
He was jailed on $100,000 bail.
The case was investigated by Mascoutah Police Department.
