Alorton Village Hall is burglarized; suspect in custody

Someone broke into Alorton Village Hall early Thursday, and police said that someone is in custody.

The burglary was discovered about 7 a.m. Thursday at Alorton Village Hall, 4821 Bond Ave., according to a statement from the village police. Several office doors were forced open.

A suspect is in custody. An inventory is being conducted to determine whether anything is missing.

More details are expected to be released later, according to the statement.
