Collinsville police searching for three men who allegedly battered victim at American Legion

Three suspects remain at large after they allegedly battered a male victim, who sustained multiple facial fractures as a result of the incident, at the Collinsville American Legion, 1022 Vandalia St.

Collinsville Police responded to the battery around 10 p.m. on Sept. 12.

On Oct. 14, four suspects were charged by Madison County State’s Attorney’s office with one court of aggravated battery, a class 3 felony, and one count of mob action, a class 4 felony.

The suspects include Jason R. Smith, 32, of Collinsville; Dennis D. Slater, 32, of Granite City; Christopher J. Smith, 41, of Collinsville and; Justin D. Hill, 24, of Collinsville.

Slater, Christopher Smith and Hill remain at large.
