O’Fallon police look for pair of thieves trying to steal credit cards from women

Police in O’Fallon are searching for a couple that has allegedly been teaming up to steal credit cards.

According to investigators, the suspects victimize shoppers by having the female distract women while the male suspect takes credit cards from her purse.

Police said the pair counts on diversion to get access to purses left in shopping carts. There has been no threat of violence.
