Wood River drug raid nets seven arrests

A police raid on an alleged drug house in Wood River netted seven arrests with multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

Wood River Police’s tactical unit raided a house in the 900 block of Whitelaw on Friday, executing a search warrant after receiving complaints about drug sales and use at the residence, according to a release from Wood River Police. Seven people were arrested and later charged.

Theresa Gillson, 37, of South Roxana, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony. She was held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Timothy Vanausdoll, 29, and Erika Huck, 26, both of Wood River; were each charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony. They were each held in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Four more people were each charged with misdemeanor possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and released with a notice to appear in court. They were Daniel Renfro, 22, of Alton; Jonathan Johnson, 25, of Alton; Brianna Gillson, 18, of Wood River; and Brody Gillson, 20, of Wood River.
