Armed man robs Shiloh gas station

A man armed with a silver revolver and wearing two different colored gloves robbed the Circle K at 105 S. Main St. in Shiloh early Thursday morning.

Shiloh police responded to the station at 1:49 a.m. after the attendant called 911 to report the armed robbery.

According to a police statement, the suspect is described as a light skinned black man who could be 20 to 25 years old, stands six feet tall, has a thin build and has “noticeable acne” on his nose and cheeks. He wore a blue hoodie with the hood held tightly around his face, black sweat pants, white tennis shoes and wore one pink and one black glove. He was armed with a silver revolver.

After the attendant complied with the suspect’s demands, the suspect left the store on foot headed toward High Street. The attendant was not hurt.
