O’Fallon man charged with posting revenge porn
An alleged posting of revenge porn has landed an O’Fallon man behind bars.
Ian D. Locke, 23, of the 200 block of Howard Drive, was charged Monday with nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, a Class 4 felony.
The alleged posting happened in Shiloh, according to the village’s police chief, Jim Stover.
“There were two people in a relationship that consented to videotaping something that was intended to be private,” Stover said. “The relationship ended and the video ended up online.
“While the participants consented to the video being made, it’s the sharing of the video that was not approved of,” Stover said.
Shiloh police on March 21 received a complaint about the video being posted online from the man who is in the video with Locke.
Locke on Wednesday was being held in the St. Clair County Jail on $20,000 bond.
