Police search for Edwardsville auto burglars

Edwardsville police are looking for suspects responsible a string of car break-ins that occurred in an area park.

According to police, the burglaries happened while cars were parked for little league baseball games in Township Park.

A total of seven cars were broken into this week in the park and at nearby Metro East Lutheran school. Purses and other valuables were grabbed after windows were smashed, leaving piles of broken glass scattered in the parking lots.
