The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
MONAY, MAY 11
Robert L. Buklad, 53, of 4500 W. Washington St., 1A, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about May 9 by Belleville police. Buklad allegedly, took merchandise from Shop N Save, 4201 North Belt West, Belleville, being a bottle of Jagermeister and flowers, total retail value less than $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Sept. 11, 2014.
Antonio D. Gage, 28, of 1708 Wilford Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft, subsequent offense on or about May 8 by Fairview Heights police. Gage allegedly, took merchandise from Macy’s, 200 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being three green shirts and a pair of blue shorts, total retail value less than $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on April 5, 2006.
James A. Gardner, 23, of 1448 Castle Lane, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aiding,a betting, possession and selling of a stolen vehicle on or about May 8 by Cahokia police. Gardner allegedly, possessed a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue, knowing it to have been stolen.
Frederick Wright II, 21, of 732 Basset Drive, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, unlawful possession of defaced firearm, aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on or about May 8 by O’Fallon police. Wright allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of R.S., 100 block of Melissa Court, O’Fallon, with the intent to commit theft therein; knowingly possessed a firearm, a .45 caliber pistol, with a defaced manufacturer’s serial number; while operating a white 1999 Lincoln Continental, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Clayton Hoff, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said white 1999 Lincoln Continental to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stop signs; knowingly aided 2 minors to become delinquent minors, in that he aided the minors, being male minors with a date of birth of Feb. 27, 1999 and Sept. 29, 1998 in committing the offense of residential burglary.
Walter D. Boyd, 46, of 2939 Converse Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about May 9 by O’Fallon police. Boyd allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 W. Highway 50, O’Fallon, being bottles of alcoholic liquor, shoes, a bag and other merchandise, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft on Jan. 12, 2011.
Lawrence Wilson, 56, of 104 High St., Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver’s license is revoked on or about May 10 by Fairview Heights police. Wilson allegedly, drove a white 2001 Hyundai Sante Fe on Bunkum Road in Fairview Heights, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked.
Samuel Simpson Jr., 33, of 1370 Idlewood Park Crossi Drive, Tucker, Ga., arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 9 by Fairview Heights police. Simpson allegedly, took merchandise from Gordman’s, 81 Ludwig Drive, Fairview Heights, being t-shirts, sandals, sheets and other merchandise, total retail value in excess of $300.
Lawanda L. Felder, 21, of 6102 Vriginia Ave., Apt. A, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 9 by Fairview Heights police. Felder allegedly, took merchandise from Gordman’s, 81 Ludwig Drive, Fairview Heights, being t-shirts, sandals, sheets and other merchandise, total retail value in excess of $300.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF
MONDAY, MAY 11
Quincy E. Harris, 42, of Florissant, Mo., multiple warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.
Alexius R. Dickson, 21, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of operating motor vehicle with suspended license, driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license by Swansea police.
Castus C. Triplett, 51, of Cahokia, warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.
Devione M. Kidd, 24, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of fraud by St. Clair County sheriff.
Courtney T. Smith, 24, of Shiloh, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery by Swansea police.
Logan M. Glaeser, 21 of Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and two traffic violations by Illinois State Police.
