ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
THURSDAY, MAY 21
Jamau E. Delk, 19, of 2133 Cleveland Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery, aggravated vehicle hijacking, felony possession and aggravated fleeing the police on or about May 18 by East St. Louis police. Delk allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency and a cellular phone from the person of Kyree G. Fisher by threatening the imminent use of force; knowing took a motor vehicle, a 2002 Mercury from the presence of Kyree G. Fisher, while the defendant was armed with a dangerous weapon, a firearm; knowingly possessed a black Smith & Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun; while operating a motor vehicle, a 2002 Mercury, was given a visual sign by a police officer, Leland Cherry, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing Jamau E. Delk to bring said Mercury to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, Jamau E. Delk traveled at a rate of speed 21 mph or greater over the legal speed limit. Defendant had been previously convicted of burglary on April 15, 2014.
Anthony M. Willard, 50, of 558 Alexander Place, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and reckless discharge of a firearm on or about May 19 by East St. Louis police. Willard allegedly, a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed on his person a Titan .25 caliber handgun; endangered the bodily safety of Leslie McLemore in that, while acting in a reckless manner, he discharged a firearm, a Titan .25 caliber handgun. Defendant had been previously convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Jan. 30, 1991.
Jaylin D. Strahan, 18, of 1712 Progress Lane, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of home invasion with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm and residential burglary on or about May 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Strahan allegedly, entered the dwelling place of Charles Cepas, 13 Impala Court, Belleville, knowing Charles Cepas to be present within that dwelling place, and while armed with a dangerous weapon, a firearm, used force against Charles Cepas, in that said defendant struck Charles Cepas in the head with the firearm; while armed with a dangerous weapon, a firearm, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency, from the presence of Charles Cepas, by the use of force or by threatening the imminent use of force; entered into or remained within the dwelling place of Charles Cepas, 13 Impala Court, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein.
Ardez L. Johnson, 29, of 3229 South Belt West, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to a residence and domestic battery, subsequent offense from between May 12 and May 17 by St. Clair County sheriff. Johnson allegedly, and without authority entered and remained within the residence of Curtis A. Harris and Dawn D. Johnson, 111 Kensington Heights Road, Belleville, at a time when said defendant knew that one or more persons were present in that residence; knowingly made contact with Astrid D. Harris, a family/household member, in that said defendant pushed the face of Astrid D. Harris. Defendant had been previously convicted of domestic battery on June 17, 2008.

Alan W. Shoemaker, 59, of Swansea, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.
Roderick T. Monigan, 45, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft of $300 by O’Fallon police.
James E. Dean, 46, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Karli N. Helfrich, 19, of New Athens, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.
