ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17

Deonte A. Elliot, 19, of 508 Dartmouth, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of two counts of Aggravated battery on or about June 15 by Belleville police. Elliot allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Ruthelma King, in that the defendant hit Ruthelma King about the head and body with his hands thereby fracturing her nose and dislocating her elbow knowing her to be a nurse engaged in the performance of her authorized duties as a nurse.

Robert M. Blanchard, 24, of 1827 Lawrence Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to a residence, aggravated assault, domestic battery and theft control on or about June 16 by East St. Louis police. Blanchard allegedly, remained in the residence of Kayara Phillips located in the 3000 block of Lincoln Ave., East St. Louis, at a time when said defendant knew/had reason to know that Kayara Phillips was present in that residence; in committing an assault, used a deadly weapon, in that knowingly held a knife at the neck of Kayara Phillips, thereby placing Kayara Phillips in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery; knowingly made physical contact with Kayara Phillips, a family/household member, in that said defendant punched her in her face; knowingly took control over property of Kayara Phillips, a cell phone, total value not in excess of $500.

Tameika T. Jackson, 34, of 2637 Minnesota, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, retail theft, subsequent, obstructing ID, and obstructing a police officer, on or about Sept. 11, 2014 by Fairview Heights police. Jackson allegedly, had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine; knowingly took merchandise from Schnuck’s, 625 Lincoln Highway, Fairview Heights, being a bottle of vodka, deodorant, make-up, body spray and other merchandise; knowingly furnished a false name and date of birth to Drew Rutter, a pece officer for the City of Fairview Heights, who has lawfully detained said defendant; knowingly obstructed the performance of Kurt Schutz, Drew Rutter and Brandon Strickland authorized acts within their official capacity, being the arrest and booking of Tameika Jackson, knowing Kurt Schutz, Drew Rutter and Brandon Strickland to be peace officers engaged in the execution of their official duties, in that she refused to walk, throwing herself to the ground and refusing to cooperate with intake procedures. The defendant had been previously convicted of theft/stealing on Feb. 6, 2013.
