ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
TUESDAY, JUNE 23
Dennis G. Cotton, 49, of 572 N. 12th St., A, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender from between April 2 and June 22 by Belleville police. Cotton allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to register in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of the City of Belleville, within 3 days of establishing a residence within that city.
Angelita S. Barton, 34, of 514 Benton St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about June 21 by Belleville police. Barton allegedly, entered into a motor vehicle, a blue 1990 Cadillac of Jeffrey Harvey, 211 S. 3rd St., Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein.
