6:46 a.m. Burglary – 100 block of North 37th Street.

8 a.m. Theft $500 and under – 500 block of North 40th Street.

8:52 a.m. Burglary from a motor vehicle – 9400 block of West Main Street.

8:10 a.m. Child custody dispute – 800 block of East D Street.

9:41 a.m. Residential burglary – 400 block of South 1st Street.

10:54 a.m. Unlawful use of credit/debit card – 300 block of Shannon Lane.

11:42 a.m. Traffic accident report – 1900 block of North Belt East.

11:56 a.m. Traffic accident report – Sherman Street at Page Avenue.

12:20 p.m. Theft $500 and under – K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza Drive.

1:48 p.m. Traffic accident, information exchange – North Illinois Street at West F Street.

3:16 p.m. Criminal damage to a vehicle – First block of North Church Street.

4:11 p.m. Retail theft – Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive.

4:42 p.m. Found property – Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive.

4:51 p.m. Suspicious incident – Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive.

4:09 p.m. Harassment by telephone – First block of Hillside Lane.

5:01 p.m. Burglary – First block of North 32nd Street.

5:32 p.m. Retail theft – Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive.

6:09 p.m. Traffic accident report – Foley Drive at South 78th Street.

7:08 p.m. Retail theft – Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive.

8:33 p.m. Theft $500 and under – 100 block of North 74th Street.

10:26 p.m. Domestic incident – First block of South 75th Street.

11:30 p.m. Traffic accident report – East State Route 15 at South Green Mount Road.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, JULY 24

Michael R. Wells, 37, of 2612 Cleveland Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery, subsequent offense on or about July 23 by East St. Louis police. Wells allegedly, made physical contact with Jennifer R. Wells, a family/household member, said defendant struck the head of Jennifer R. Wells with a dresser drawer; poked her in the eye with his finger; struck her in the head with his fist. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated domestic battery on Dec. 3, 2012.

Dwayne R. McLemore, 48, of 723 N. 52nd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aiding, abetting, possession of a stolen vehicle, criminal trespass to vehicles on or about July 23 by Belleville police. McLemore allegedly, a person not entitled to possession of said vehicle, possessed a 2014 Ford Escape, knowing it to have been stolen; entered the motor vehicle of Brian Franke, being a 2014 Ford Escape.

Rufus C. Thomas, 26, of 435 N. 37th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except, firearm without valid FOID Card, possession of drug paraphernalia on or about July 24 by Swansea police. Thomas allegedly, a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed about his person a Taurus .25 caliber handgun; had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine; possessed a firearm, a Taurus .25 caliber handgun, without having in his possession a FOID Card; possessed a digital scale, plastic bags, razor blade, drug paraphernalia, with the intent to use said items for the packaging and preparation of use of cannabis and controlled substances. Defendant had been previously convicted of burglary, a forcible felony on Oct. 19, 2010.

Latrice S. Reid, 21, of 1165 Larimore, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about July 25 by O’Fallon police. Reid allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 W. Highway 50, O’Fallon, being two Coleman brand tents, total retail value in excess of $300.

Nicholas S. Barnard, 26, of 8 Lakewood Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of violating orders of protection on or about July 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Barnard allegedly, having been served with the contents of an order of protection, knowingly committed an act which was prohibited by the order of protection, in that said defendant came within 500 feet of Carol Brown, a protected party, and called her multiple times. Defendant had previously been convicted of domestic battery on July 3, 2013.

Travis D. Embrey, 24, of 7004 E. Fellin Drive, Mt. Olive, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about July 25 by Belleville police. Embrey allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 2608 Greenmount Commons, Belleville, being Pokemon, magic and playing cards, total retail value in excess of $300.

Steven M. Pfershy, 29, of 231 N. Main St., Smithton, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about July 26 by Smithton police. Pfershy allegedly, in committing a battery, said defendant knowingly made physical contact with Scott Mohrmann, in that he punched him in the abdomen with his fist knowing Scott Mohrmann to be a peace officer, engaged in the performance of his authorized duties.
