The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
THURSDAY, JAN. 21
- Amber M. Clover, 24, 209 Circle Court, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Sept. 10, 2015 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Clover allegedly, had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.
- Viontez L. Carroll, 26, of 20 Leonard, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of driving on a suspended license on or about Jan. 12 by East St. Louis police. Carroll allegedly, carried in a vehicle a black Ilama 9mm semi automatic handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and said defendant was engaged in a misdemeanor violation of the Cannabis Control Act; drove a 2005 tan Buick on 19th St. in East St. Louis, at a time when defendant’s driver’s license was suspended/revoked and the suspension/revocation was for an out-of-state offense, or a similar provision of a local ordinance; drove a 2005 tan Buick on 18th St. in East St. Louis, at a time when defendant’s driver’s license was suspended/revoked.
- Darrion W. Hamilton, 23, of 137 N. 72nd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about July 24, 2015 by East St. Louis police. Hamilton allegedly, carried on/about his person a 9mm blue steel Hi Point handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and the defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID Card.
- Keith L. Perry, 23, of 765 Pershing, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about July 24 by East St. Louis police. Perry allegedly, carried on/about his person a .38 semi automatic Hi Point handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and said defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID Card.
- Twanna R. Adams, 24, of 7217 Normandy Place, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Nov. 18, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Adams allegedly, took merchandise from J.C. Penney, 245 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being Nike brand sweatpants and sweatshirts, total retail value in excess of $300.
- Nicole R. Brison, 29, of 1043 Garth Ave., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft and obstructing identification on or about Nov. 18, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Brison allegedly, took merchandise from J.C. Penney, 245 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being Nike brand sweatpants, sweatshirts, jacket and other merchandise, total retail value in excess of $300; knowingly furnished a false name to Zachary Adrian, a peace officer for the City of O’Fallon, who had lawfully detained said defendant.
- Nakia N. Daniels, 41, of 77 Bayberry Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of two counts of theft on or about March 27, 2013 and April 24, 2014 by Fairview Heights police. Daniels allegedly, took property of Conquesha Brooks, being U.S. currency, total value in excess of $500 intending to deprive her permanently of the use of the property.
- Christopher J. Cahoon, 33, of 301 S. Euclid Ave., Marissa, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Jan. 19 by Marissa police. Cahoon allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.
- Shaun S. Heniser, 33, of 2550 Rolens Drive, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Dec. 20, 2015 by O’Fallon police. Heniser allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 W. Highway 50, O’Fallon, being a memory stick and a Samsung brand charger, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft by July 15, 2005.
- Corliss S. Jefferson, 31, of 229 Judith Lane, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of forgery between April 3, 2015 and May 15, 2015 by Belleville police. Jefferson allegedly, delivered to Schnucks Market, a retail establishment, located at 110 Carlyle Plaza Drive, Belleville, a document apparently capable of defrauding another, in that it was drawn on the Associated Bank, dated April 20, 2015, payable to Schnucks Markets in the amount of $165.72 and signed as drawer Trinia Prater, knowing the document to have been thus made.
