The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
FRIDAY, JAN. 22
- Carl E. White, 44, of 9432 W. Main St., Belleville, arrested on two counts of failure to register as a murderer on or about March 30, 2013 and Jan. 21 by Belleville police. White allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to register in accordance with the provision of the Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of the City of Belleville, within 5 days after release from incarceration.
- Deon L. Sanders, 19, of 5704 Portland Place, Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and mob action on or about Oct. 9, 2015 by Washington Park police. Sanders allegedly, in committing a battery, and while on the parking lot at 1441 Kingshighway, East St. Louis, a public way, knowingly made physical contact with Ricky Hillard, in that he struck him about the head with his hand; knowingly, by the use of force and violence, disturbed the public peace in taht he while acting together with Earl Agnew and Lamarcus Evans and without authority of law, struck and kicked Ricky Hillard on or about the body, thereby inflicting injury to Ricky Hillard.
- Malcolm I. Schwentker, 20, of 110 Delmar St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery on or about Jan. 20 by Mascoutah police. Schwentker allegedly, while armed with a dangerous weapon, a knife, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency, from the person of Brandon Green, by threatening the imminent use of force.
- Shawna M. Pacewic, 42, of 304 Pine Lake Road, Apt. 103B, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Nov. 10, 2015 by St. Clair County sheriff. Pacewic allegedly, had in her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.
- Kristen E. Barker, 27, of 7151 State Route 4, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of possession of an amount of a controlled substance and driving under the influence on or about Jan. 22, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Barker allegedly, had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine; drove a gray 2015 Ford F-150 truck on St. Clair Ave., Fairview Heights, while the alcohol concentration in the defendant’s breath or blood was .08 or more.
- Sara D. Worley, 36, of 6 Clinton Hill Drive, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated driving under the influence and endangering a child on or about Jan. 21 by Fairview Heights police. Worley allegedly, drove a red 2004 Pontiac Vibe on Lincoln Highway in Fairview Heights, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol; while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and while the defendant transported a person under the age of 16, being a minor with the initials M.M., date of birth, March 16, 2009; willfully caused the health of a male minor with a date of birth, March 16, 2009, a child under the age of 18 years, to be endangered in that said defendant drove a red 2004 Pontiac Vibe under the influence of alcohol while the minor was a passenger in the vehicle. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving under the influence in Green County, MO. and Camden County, MO.
- Charles D. Aaron, 43, of 1264 Greenfield Place, Apt. 308, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of driving on suspended driver license, subsequent on or about Jan. 21 by Fairview Heights police. Aaron allegedly, drove a gray 2008 Dodge Charger southbound on North Illinois St., in Fairview Heights, at a time when defendant’s driver’s license was suspended and the suspension. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving on suspended license on March 17, 2014.
- Lucian D. Hall, 40, of 49 Hi Point Drive, Apt. 3, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about July 5, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Hall allegedly, had in his possession a substance containing Alprazolam.
MONDAY, JAN. 25
- Marty L. Bailey, 50, homeless in Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Jan. 22 by Belleville police. Bailey allegedly, took merchandise from Target, 5601 Belleville Crossing, Belleville, being a computer monitor and a wireless router, total retail value in excess of $300.
- John D. McIntosh, 37, of 1401 N. Illinois St., 30 Swansea, arrested on suspicion of theft on or about Jan. 22 by Swansea police. McIntosh allegedly, took merchandise from Aldi’s, 1708 N. Illinois St., Swansea, being assorted food items and alcohol, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of burglary on Feb. 17, 2009.
- Donovan D. Smith, 21, of 1119 N. 43rd St., Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Jan. 24 by Belleville police. Smith allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 2608 Greenmount Commons, Belleville, being cans of soup and bottles of alcoholic liquor, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft on Aug. 20, 2015.
- Terrence L. Taylor Jr., 26, of 200 Gladys St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon on or about Jan. 24 by Fairmont City police. Taylor allegedly, a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed in a car a .22 caliber Smith and Wesson. The defendant had been previously convicted of robbery 2nd degree on July 18, 2008.
- Robert T. Jones, 46, of 334 Plaza Ave., Ferguson, Mo., arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Nov. 24, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Jones allegedly, took merchandise from Best Buy Mobile, 134 St. Clair Square, 154B, Fairview Heights, being Digiland brand tablet, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft, subsequent on May 26, 1999.
- Andre D. Wright, 39, of 2729 Gaty Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Jan. 23 by Belleville police. Wright allegedly, took merchandise from CVS Pharmacy, 4609 W. Main St., Belleville, being bottles of liquor, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Dec. 26, 2003.
- Angela R. Padgett, 48, of 3206 VFW Lane, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Aug. 11, 2015 by Caseyville police. Padgett allegedly, had in her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.
