ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
FRIDAY, APRIL 1
- Eric S. Thimsen, 400 N. Michigan Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of vendor fraud and theft from between Jan. 2, 2013 and Sept. 30, 2014 by Illinois State Police. Thimsen allegedly, by a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design, at least one of which occurred at the the 1st day of June, 2013, and within the statute of limitations, on behalf of himself willfully, by means of false statements and representations, and to obtain payments under the Public Aid Code to which he was not entitled, caused false Illinois Department of Human Services home services time sheets to be submitted to the Illinois Department of Human Services for payment, and based on said false home services time sheets caused the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services through the Illinois Department of Human Services to authorize payments to Eric S. Thimsen to which the defendant was not entitled, said amount having a value of more than $10,000 but less than $100,000; in that said defendant, through a series of acts in furtherance of a single intention and design, at least one of which occurred after the 1st day of June, 2013, and within the statute of limitations, knowingly obtained by deception control over governmental property of the state of Illinois, said property being U.S. currency, total value exceeding $10,000 and not exceeding $100,000 in value, with the intent to permanently deprive the state of Illinois of the use and benefit of said property; said defendant, through a series of acts in furtherance of a single intention and design, at least one of which occurred after the 1st day of June, 2013, and within the statute of limitations, knowingly exerted unauthorized control over governmental property of the State of Illinois, said property being U.S. currency, total value exceeding $10,000 and not exceeding $100,000 in value, with the intent to permanently deprive the State of Illinois of the use and benefit of said property.
- Meredith E. Jones, 43, of 811 Rome St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of vendor fraud and theft from Dec. 8, 2012 and July 14, 2014 by Illinois State Police. Jones allegedly, by a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design, at least one of which occurred after the 1 st day of June, 2013, and within the statute of limitations, on behalf of herself willfully, by means of false statements and representations, and to obtain payments under the Public Aid Code to which she was not entitled, caused false Illinois Department of Human Services home services time sheets to be submitted to the Illinois Department of Human Services for payment, and based on said false home services time sheets caused the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services through the Illinois Department of Human Services to authorize payments to Meredith E. Jones to which the defendant was not entitled, said amount having a value of more than $1,000 but less than $5,000; in that said defendant, through a series of acts in furtherance of a single intention and design, at least one of which occurred after the 1st day of June, 2013, and within the statute of limitations, knowingly obtained by deception control over governmental property of the State of Illinois, said property being U.S. currency, total value exceeding $5,000 and not exceeding $10,000 in value, with the intent to permanently deprive the State of Illinois of the use and benefit of said property; in that said defendant, through a series of acts in furtherance of a single intention and design at least one of which occurred after the 1st day of June, 2014, and within the statute of limitations, knowingly exerted unauthorized control over governmental property of the State of Illinois, said property being U.S. currency, total value exceeding $500 and not exceeding $10,000 in value, with the intent to permanently deprive the State of Illinois of the use and benefit of said property.
- Todd E. Bramblett, 50, of 308 Eiler Road, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse between Aug. 1, 2013 and Aug. 31, 2013 by St. Clair County sheriff. Bramblett allegedly, knowingly committed an act of sexual conduct with a female minor, initials, A.B., date of birth, Aug. 16, 1998, a person under the age of 18 years and the defendant was a family member of the minor at the time of the conduct; knowingly committed an act of sexual conduct with a female minor with initials, A.B., date of birth, Aug. 16 1998, a person between the age of 13 and 17 years, and the defendant was 5 years or more older than the minor at the time of the conduct; knowingly committed an act of sexual conduct with a female minor with initials E.W., date of birth, March 27, 2001, a person between the age of 13 and 17 at the time of the conduct, and the defendant was 5 years or more older than the minor at the time of the conduct.
