The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, MAY 9

Keith M. Perry, 45, of 4214 Maffitt Ave., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of retail theft, subsequent on or about May 8 by Fairview Heights police. Perry allegedly, took merchandise from Family Dollar, 10231 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, being Dove brand body wash and deodorant, Crest brand toothpaste and Gillette brand razors, total retail value not in excess of $300; took merchandise from Family Dollar, 20161 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, being Dove and Axe brand body wash, total value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of stealing on July 16, 2003.

Cordarious Bufford, 23, of 1227 Williams St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis on or about May 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Bufford allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Korey L. Rush, 46, of 149 Wild Rose Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about May 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Rush allegedly, took merchandise from Moto Mart, 1920 Carlyle Ave., Belleville, being a can of Bud Light brand beer, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Jan. 12, 2010.

TUESDAY, MAY 10

Raphael L. Harris, 23, of 555 Gray Blvd., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to delivery cannabis on or about May 8 by Sauget police. Harris allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Jonathan J. Byers, 59, of 208 N. 45th St., Alorton, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver’s license is revoked, subsequent and obstructing identification on or about May 7 by Fairview Heights police. Byers allegedly, drove a red 1997 Chevrolet Van on West State Route 161 in Fairview Heights, at a time when defendant’s driver’s license was revoked; knowingly furnished a false name to Nicholas Bullard, a peace officer for the City of Fairview Heights, who had lawfully detained said defendant. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving while driver’s license is revoked on April 7, 2011.

Marie A. Ambrosio, 39, of 713 St. Nicholas Drive, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Nov. 13, 2015 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Ambrosio allegedly, had in her possession a substance containing Alprazolam.

Fallon L. Bownes, 30, of 308B Baltes Drive, Shiloh, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on or about April 25, 2015 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Bownes allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver 13 grams of a substance containing heroin; possessed with the intent to deliver 9.8 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

Kenneth Bownes, 30, of 106 Dorcas, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of drug conspire unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and drug conspire unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon on or about April 25, 2014 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Bownes allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver 13 grams of a substance containing heroin; possessed with intent to deliver 9.8 grams of a substance containing cocaine; possessed in his abode a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun. Defendant had been previously convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 15, 2011.

Lonnie C. Edmonds, 23, of 721 N. 22nd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about April 29 by Illinois State Police. Edmonds allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused bodily harm to Trooper Scott Becker, in that he injured Trooper Becker’s thumb with his hands knowing Trooper Becker to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties.

Beth A. Partelow, 38, of 719 Ann St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence on or about Oct. 7, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Partelow allegedly, had in her possession less than five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; drove a silver 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer on Illinois Highway 159 in Fairview Heights, while there was an amount of a drug, substance or compound in her breath, blood, or urine resulting from the unlawful use of consumption of cannabis.

Eric D. Schulze, 31, of 515 N. Court St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Oct. 2, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Schulze allegedly, had in his possession a substance containing Fentanyl.

Michael C. Wayman, 36, of 606 Baron Drive, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Nov. 8, 2015 by Fairview Heights police. Wayman allegedly, had in his possession a substance containing Alprazolam.

Erica R. Johnson, 28, of 827 S. 28th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or abour May 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Johnson allegedly, took merchandise from Circle K, 5904 Old St. Louis Drive, Belleville, being multiple lighters and bottles of liquor, total retail value in excess of $300.
