The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

TUESDAY, JUNE 14

Justen B. Conner, 29, of 401 Walnut St., A, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about June 8 by Belleville police. Conner allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused bodily harm to Maurice Jones, in that he stabbed Maurice Jones about the body with a knife.

Michael J. French, 41, of 1823 Muren Blvd., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about June 17 by Fairview Heights police. French allegedly, entered into a building of Amy Pam, doing business as New China, located at 443 N. Illinois St., Swansea, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Jason S. Bates, 33, of 2507 Chestnut St., Hannibal, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver’s license is suspended, subsequent on or about Jan. 23 by Illinois State Police. Bates allegedly, drove a red 1986 Ford Ranger on St. Clair Ave. in East St. Louis, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were suspended.

Stanley D. Humphries Jr., 30, of 1303 Lou Ann Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, criminal trespass to residence while resident present, domestic battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and knowingly damage to property on or about June 8 by Fairview Heights police. Humphries allegedly, entered into a dwelling place of M.M. located in the 9700 block of Mark Trail, Fairview Heights, with the intent to commit therein the felony of criminal damage to property in excess of $300; knowingly and without authority, entered and remained within the residence of M.M., 9700 block of Mark Trail, Fairview Heights, at a time when said defendant knew that one or more persons were present in that residence; knowingly made contact with M.M., a family or household member, in that said defendant pushed her to the ground; used a deadly weapon, in that said defendant knowingly moved the slide of a handgun, ejecting a bullet in front of M.M., thereby placing her in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery; knowingly damaged property of State Property Management, a residence in Fairview located in the 9700 block of Mark Trail, without State Property Management’s consent, in that said defendant kicked in a door damaging the door and door frame.

Hamed F. Maghrabi, 24, of 3233 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery on or about June 8 by St. Clair County sheriff. Maghrabi allegedly, made contact of an insulting nature with Sharie Robinson, a family/household member, in that said defendant struck Sharie Robinson about the head with his hand and threw her onto the bed. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated battery on July 28, 2014.

Christopher D. Dixon, 43, of 534 Trails End, Edwardsville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon on or about June 8 by Washington Park police. Dixon allegedly, carried in a vehicle a .380 handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and the said defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID Card; knowingly carried concealed in a vehicle a machete at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business.

Lonzell M. Haire, 58, of 3711 Round Hill Road, Apt. 6, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver’s license is revoked, subsequent on or about April 15 by Swansea police. Haire allegedly, drove a red 2014 Ford Fusion on North Illinois St., in Swansea, at a time when defendant’s driver’s license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is revoked on Feb. 18, 2004.

Mark A. Haynes Jr., 33, of 58 St. Ambrose Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except and possession of cannabis on or about June 11 by Fairview Heights police. Haynes allegedly, carried in a vehicle a silver and black Smith & Wesson revolver loaded with five, .38 Special bullets, at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode or legal dwelling or fixed place of business or in the legal dwelling of another person as an ivitee with that person’s permission, and said defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID Card; had in his possession a clear plastic bag containing a white powder of a substance containing cocaine; had in his possession ot more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Steven A. Newell, 40, of 913 Upper Cahokia Road, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about June 10 by Cahokia police. Newell allegedly, made physical contac with Troy DeRossett, in that he pushed Troy DeRossett in the chest, knowing Troy DeRossett to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties.

Kyle R. Bostick, 26, of 301 Mine Road, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to a residence and domestic battery on or about June 11 by Mascoutah police. Bostick allegedly, entered and remained within the residence of J.P.J located in the 200 block of Laura Court, Mascoutah, at a time when said defendant knew/had reason to know that one or more persons were present in that residence; made physical contact with J.P.J., a family/household member, in that said defendant pushed her.
