Back2School event in Belleville draws hundreds with free school supplies, fun

Several hundred students were at Belleville West High School Tuesday night for the Back2School Fun Fair.

Youngsters received backpacks stuffed with school supplies to get them started in the new school year. They and parents also visited vendor booths, played games, ate hot dogs, got their teeth checked and participated in other activities to get them ready for the upcoming school year.

The event was hosted by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee.
