East St. Louis school board to consider moving principals
Among the items on the agenda for Tuesday evening’s board meeting at East St. Louis School District 189 is a realignment of school administrators for the coming school year.
District spokeswoman Kelli Hawkins said any such decision made by the board would also need to be approved by the state-appointed Financial Oversight Panel.
The school board’s monthly meeting is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Board of Education Building, at 1005 State Street in East St. Louis. The agenda says the board will take public comments before going into executive session; open session, superintendent’s report and other action items will take place after.
