Free lunch program to begin for students in Cahokia

Free lunch starts in Cahokia at noon Thursday at Cahokia High School, 800 Range Lane, and run through June 24.

The program is part of the Summer Meals Program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and runs at all locations through June 24. According to the USDA, the program will serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and younger at sites nationwide this summer.

Breakfast and lunches start on Monday at some Cahokia locations. Serving breakfast from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday through June 24 at:

▪  Wirth Complex, 1900 Mousette Lane.

▪  Estelle Sauget School, 1700 Jerome Lane.

▪  Penniman School, 1820 Jerome Lane.

Lunch will be served from noon til 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through June 24 at:

▪  Wirth Complex, 1900 Mousette Lane.

▪  Estelle Sauget School, 1700 Jerome Lane.

▪  Penniman School, 1820 Jerome Lane.

▪  Wirth Complex, 1900 Mousette Lane.

▪  Estelle Sauget School, 1700 Jerome Lane.
