‘There’s something kinky going on.’ Some can’t get over Oregon home for sale. See it
A large home tucked away in the lush greenery of Grants Pass, Oregon, has been turning a few heads on a popular TikTok page thanks to its intriguing interior.
Listed for $550,000, the six-bedroom, 3.5-plus-bathroom residence comes with a lot of gadgets and features that might look a little strange to a single person, but heaven for those with a large family considering all its open space.
“Location, location, location!! Previously a Hops Mill, this charming home was converted into a multi-family set-up in 1979 (septic, hot water heater, & power meter for each unit w/ a shared well),” the listing on Realtor.com.
But what is a multi-family set-up?
According to Bankrate, a multi-family home is “a single building that’s divided to accommodate more than one family living separately. They can range from a duplex, which has two dwellings within a single building, to homes or small apartment buildings with up to four individual units.”
And this home brings it out in spades.
There’s a 5760-square-foot main house with an open floor plan, four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and an indoor hot tub.
There’s also an attached apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom apartment and its own garage on the property.
The residence was featured on the TikTok page @zillowtastrophes, but it wasn’t the multi-family aspect that caught the creator’s eye when she went through the photos in her video that was posted in June.
“Right when you walk in, there’s a Jacuzzi and a bar set up, lots of Christmas lights on the ceiling,” she said in the video. “And then there’s this…”
The creator then points out a massive bathtub and shower in a huge bathroom with ample seating.
“In this carpeted living area, there’s literally a tub in the floor, with this strange kind of seating around the tub. Like how many people are supposed to be in this room at once?”
“Genuinely, I can’t think of any reason for having this giant bathroom, other than there’s something kinky going on,” she continues.
People in the comment section either agreed with her, or argued that it was a perfectly innocent house built by an artist.
“Someone film a rreal world reboot now,” one person said referencing the MTV reality show.
“The way it looks by size and shape of the platform, I think it was a hot tub room,” another pointed out.
Grants Pass is in southwestern Oregon, about 140 miles south of Eugene.
